Mark Lennox

Managing Director

Having engaged with SML as a subcontractor over a number of years when working for major contractors, Mark acquired a 50% shareholding in 2010, becoming Managing Director. His ambition to position SML as a respected main contractor was immediately achieved with successful projects delivered in the health and commercial sectors. Under his influence, structured planning, and careful control, SML has grown steadily throughout the challenging trading conditions of recent years.

Mark brings to SML Contracts a wealth of experience from his career working in both small and national contractors, his philosophy is to blend the assurance and competencies of a medium sized contractor with his commitment to responsiveness and service, standards he expects of all the team in SML.

Operations Director

Steve founded the SML Limited Company in 2002, managing the business solely until 2010, when his established professional association with Mark led to the opportunity for him to share joint ownership. Steve relishes the management of the SML projects on site, using his wealth of experience to plan efficient solutions for new build and complex refurbishments, particularly when working in the live environment.

Steve leads our teams on site, knowing that it is by exceeding customer expectations and nurturing our relationships with their professional advisors, that we will secure our future work and the continuing success of SML Contracts.
