Health, Safety and Envirionment

SML Contracts are committed to preventing Harm, Injury or Incident on its sites or places of work. We have invested considerable time and cost into SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) assessment and accreditation such as CHAS and SMAS, as well as developing our quality management system which provides for the planning, monitoring and delivery of all operations in a safe manner.

We have and continue to ensure that all of our own staff are CSCS and CRB assessed as well as trained in the specific fields of activity continuously and progressively. All staff are asbestos aware trained and also in IPAF / PASMA / SMSTS as required. We commit a considerable amount of funding for training every year.

Our supply chain also have to be certificated by an SSIP provider and be 100% CSCS and asbestos aware trained.

Equally we are committed to our shared environment and are currently working towards ISO14001 quality environmental accreditation. We are committed to the use of sustainable productions, waste reduction, material regeneration and salvage along with reducing our carbon output by minimal use of plant and planned vehicle sharing arrangements with not only our own staff but also sub contract and supply chain partners.
